It was early 2009 when I first began to visualize a tribe for boomer women. I purchased the domain,, became a student of Seth Godin’s book, Tribes, and discovered the location for our Texas retreats. For many of us between the time we dream it and the time we do it the universe reveals other plans.

Looking back at my journey since ’09 I must say this little detour had blessings and heartaches.

I married a wonderful man, created a digital marketing company, and hit some personal speed bumps that became some of the darkest nights of my soul. Any one of these events would have brought any boomer woman on a mission to a major slow down and at times a screeching halt.

In all the chaos my mental “happy place” was creating the Boomerang Sisterhood. This passage of my life I refer to as “a beautiful tragedy.”

My mantra was, “learn the lesson, thank the teacher and move on.”

Today I feel ridiculously lucky and proud to not only dream about my “happy place” but to live it. It’s nice to pretend and imagine your perfect world but there’s nothing like the real thing.

Join me for this amazing boomer women’s adventure. It’s going to be an incredible third act for all of us. I promise.
